Aswath Babu

Dr. Aswath Babu H is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Arts, Science, and Design at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Dharwad . He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2013, focusing on nonlinear dynamical phenomena in all-optical bistable systems Dr. Babu's research interests encompass quantum information theory, quantum optics, nonlinear optics, and the nonlinear dynamics of optical systems . He has contributed to the field through publications in journals such as Physical Review A and has explored applications of quantum computing in areas like stock price prediction His professional experience includes postdoctoral positions at IIT Madras and Lund University in Sweden, as well as a faculty role at NIT Calicut before joining IIIT Dharwad in 2016 .Dr. Babu is actively involved in advancing quantum computing education and research, contributing to the development of quantum-secure communication systems and quantum algorithms for molecular simulations
